On December 16th, 2008, Secretary Gottschalk and Secretary Bryant met with the Ambassador of Germany Dr. Klaus Scharioth to discuss climate issues. All agreed to work with stakeholders to advance these possible areas of collaboration as part of the “Transatlantic Climate Bridge” in the areas of emissions trading, community energy planning, energy research, and green jobs.
